After a dare-devil kid named Erniehis sister Julia, along with also his best friend Max are horsing around in Max's inventor father's workshop, they accidentally trip a time machine to performance and are transported back in time 65 million decades, at which they meet a trex termed Tyra and her rambunctious dinosaur son Dodger.
