The year is 2045, and the ongoing drug war has wreaked havoc on relations between the United States and Mexico. Gear Side International, a robotics engineering firm, has lost a multibillion dollar government contract due to unethical business practices. They sell their technology on the black market to the Malvado cartel as they approach bankruptcy. In the hands of the wrong people, advanced military robotics technology. It is used to the cartel's advantage, as it replaces their enforcers, hit men, and soldiers. The cartel grows to be a significant threat to the United States.
