Moondance Alexander

The curiously named, Moondance Alexander can be just a teen living with her mother. Until she discovers a pin to pony named Checkers who has jumped out of the 23, she is faced with the following uneventful summer. Although Moondance yields the horse into his owner, the gruff and mysterious Dante Longpre, she's convinced that Checkers is really just a winner jumper in disguise and can be determined to help him realize his full potential. Moondance manages to talk Dante into training her and Checkers to Your Bow Valley Classic and also despite the criticism of her peers. Finds that persistence, loyalty and individuality can land you in the winner's circle.
