Pressure

Story about five teens in Harlem, New York during the 1980's. New kids are coming into the world called "hip hop" kids, but they were born at the same time as the "crack cocaine" kids. The next day after Karon graduates in 1985, he goes to sleep for the rest of the day. Having dreams inside dreams takes him into a real drama, as well as his possible future as a drug-selling youth in the 1990s. His quick money attitude is bad for the community, and in the end, his best friends get caught in the crossfire of his illegal activities. In 1985, he wakes up and realizes that the "easy way out" that was given to him was not a new beginning, but the end.
