Shrek The Musical is a musical with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire. It's centered upon William Steig's 1990 book Shrek along with the 2001 DreamWorks Animation's film Shrek! It had been nominated for 2 Tony Awards including Best Musical. On July 19, 2013after a closure of this federal tour and West End productions, Amazon.com affirmed that the filmed performance could be designed for instant viewing on September 17, 2013. Even a DVD, blu ray, and digital download was released on that day.The performance is an edit of several live performances together with a performance shooter without an audience. The original main throw appear, as well as alumni throughout the show's Broadway run. In addition, it keeps the song"Donkey Pot Pie" instead of the replacement,"for ever."
