In 1868, a struggle between government compels along with shogunate forces are just about to take place in Edo. Katsu Kaishu (Hiroshi Tamaki) wants to avoid futile bloodshed and sends a peace envoy into Takamori Saig?, however, Katsu Kaishu is not able for a reply from Takamori Saig?. One afternoon, Katsu Kaishu meets senior high school educator Mikako (Satomi Ishihara) and also her student Masaya who is captivated by the shogunate.
