Dante
Dante can be a NBC adventure/drama television series starring Howard Duff as Willie Dante, a former gambler who also works a bay area, Dante's Inferno nightclub. Alan Mowbray co-starred like Stewart Styles. Tom D'Andrea as Biff, Dante's"man Friday", and Mort Mills as police Lieutenant Bob Malone.
Dante claims to have placed his past behind him has kept Biff and associates that are old Stewart. Neither the police nor the telescope consider that he could be truly finished with the underworld while his team is legitimate. Dante associates in crime keep looking at the club in efforts to lure him back.
Dick Powell had played with Dante in eight episodes of the Four Star Playhouse, initially compiled by Blake Edwards, who had created radio stations play Richard Diamond, Private Detective for Powell. There, Willie functions an illegal gambling operation from the back room of this"Inferno", which police soon shut . The sole regular from the Four Star Playhouse variation to be throw from the show was Mowbray, who had played a millionaire named Jackson who had gambled away his fortune and then worked as truly one of Dante's waiters. These episodes were rebroadcast under the collective name The very best in Mystery.
