Wild West

Wild West can be actually a situation comedy screened by October 2002 until 2004 starring Catherine Tate and Dawn French. It was referred to as a dark comedy from the pen of Simon Nye and has been filmed on location in Cornwall. Set in the hamlet of St Gweep, Wild-west finds the odd Goingson from the local Cornish community. Her life-partner Angel A and shop owners Mary Trewednack are the major focus however there are other personalities in this sitcom. The very first collection of this sitcom has been scheduled to appear on prime time BBC1 at which its own eccentricities met with a poor answer, but another series was commissioned and both series have received retrospective compliments. Most of the sitcom was first filmed in Cornwall from the village of Portloe.
