Blood Child
Blood Child is a supernatural horror film based on a true tale. Bill and Ashely DiAngelo appear to have it all: an overseas posting to Singapore, a tropical lifestyle, and an expecting child. However, tragedy comes when she miscarries and enters a profound despair. Unbeknownst to Bill, Ashley thinks that the only way she can "be" with her miscarried kid is to experiment with the South East Asian occult practice of raising her own "ghost child." She enlists the assistance of her Indonesian maid, Siti, and assigns her the duty of locating a bomoh (witch doctor) skilled in the art of capturing the spirit of unborn deceased fetuses. Siti makes numerous unsuccessful attempts to dissuade Ashley from using such wicked magic. Meanwhile, in an attempt to put the awful events surrounding the miscarriage behind them, Bill decides that the couple should return to Minnesota and start anew. Ashley and Bill are shocked to discover they are pregnant again some months after returning to the United States....
