Hamlet in the Golden Vale
A business of actors arrive at a castle deep in the countryside and also set into motion the story of the Hamlet of Shakespeare. The lives of their characters and the actors as Prince Hamlet faces the ghost of his father and seeks revenge on the Claudius, his uncle and king. The pursuit of vengeance of hamlet scorches the lives of everybody and lays bare the countless contradictions and ambiguities of human existence. At the play's end, a week have passed and also the actors emerge, leaving personalities the castle supporting.
