Predatory Moon

Zoologist Kyle Reading has been studying animal attacks across the country in an effort to figure out how to stop them. He is trying to figure out how to keep people safe. When a young boy is said to have been killed by a bear in Florida, Kyle starts his own investigation. Quickly, he turns his attention to Dean Clout, the child's uncle, who somehow escaped the attack that killed him. Dean, who is well-known in town for being a drunk, doesn't remember much about his encounter with the bear. As soon as he was found, he was found unconscious in the woods. He only remembers leaving him and the boy there by his friend who went to run an errand and didn't come back.
