Sanctum

The Sanctum, from producer James Cameron, follows a team of cave divers on a treacherous trip into the accessible and largest, most beautiful cave system on Earth. Every time a tropical storm compels them deep into the caverns, they must fight raging water, creeping terror and mortal terrain as they hunt into the sea. Master diver Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh) has researched the South Pacific's Esa-ala Caves for many years. But when his exit is take in a flash flooding, Frank's team--for example 17-year-old boy Josh (Rhys Wakefield) and also financier Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd)--are driven to radically alter plans. With dwindling supplies, the crew must browse the underwater labyrinth to make it out. They are confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive, or will they be trapped?
