The Fitzroy

The Fitzroy is a live-action black comedy set in a post-apocalyptic 1950s alternate universe. The planet is engulfed in deadly gas, and the last place on Earth to enjoy a classic seaside vacation is The Fitzroy hotel, an abandoned submarine off the coast of England. The film follows Bernard, the hotel's bellboy, cook, maintenance man, and general dogsbody, as he battles to keep the deteriorating establishment sealed and afloat. However, when he falls in love with a homicidal guest, he is dragged into a maddening day of deception, backstabbing, and mayhem. Bernard's life literally begins to crumble around him as he battles to conceal her killings from other visitors and watchful authorities.
